For 20 years, the TD Friends of the Environment Foundation (TD FEF) has been supporting local environmental projects in communities across Canada.

As part of celebrating their 20th anniversary, FEF wanted to thank their donors for 20 years of support. They needed a poster they could put up in TD Canada Trust branches that would say “Thank you” in a creative, engaging way.

Rather than having the bank or the foundation directly saying thank you, we focused on the idea that the environment itself appreciated people’s donations. The tree with the heart-shaped roots was a whimsical but immediately understandable way of letting the environment say “Thank you” for itself.

The poster also drove customers to the FEF website, where they could learn more about FEF and see their donations in action.
